He was glad that the year is over.They had an awards ceremony at the school in which he received several awards. He received a Presidential Achievement Award, 
commendations on all 3 TAKS tests,
and other individual class achievements awards. We are so proud of him!!
After the ceremony, we went to lunch and ran into his girlfriend and her mom at the restaurant. We decided to take the two of them to a movie as a reward (plus it was a movie we all wanted to see). We went to the 3-D version of Up. Very cute movie - but very sad in some places (for me, at least).
Now - it's summertime - what to do, what to do!!!! I think that is the thing I miss most about being in school - SUMMER VACATION!!!
Oh - to be young again!!!
